Circumstances That Make Social Security Number Useful

By Rob G Smith

The existing economic circumstance is becoming worse and worse everyday. It feels disappointing. But the government is continually assuring us that they are taking considerable actions to crack the crisis but when will we be able to get out from this?

It's just that positive results are not really visible at all. Because of this, the industry competition has become so stiff that a lot of companies have foregone many employees because they can no longer sustain them, some even shut down and many are still considering the same. Many companies have made desperate measures to be able to survive. You can't blame them, like you, they are just trying to survive. It's definitely unavoidable.

During these times of misfortune, having a social security number comes in useful. It is a form of insurance to preserve individuals, who are members, from poverty and other monetary hardships.

At the present time, getting laid off from ones job is widespread because of the existing economic circumstances Companies who let go of many people may rationalize their action by saying "it's better to lay off a few employees than to completely shut down the whole company", which if you think about it will lead to more people losing jobs.

Circumstances that negatively influence a person's capability to provide comprises of death, disability, retirement and even unemployment. This way, even if this happens, the family or the beneficiaries will be assured that money will still be available for their daily needs.

Try to visualize a situation wherein you don't have your own SSN and these depressing circumstances happen, what would you do? Rob banks, shop lift or even steal somebody else's number to be able to enjoy his or her hard earned money? And then what becomes of you after? Serve time? You may think you can get away with this but you will definitely won't, believe me. - 23211
